AMERICAN LIVING AWARD

November 26, 2003 — Paramount Homes, known for creating a number of successful communities in Central New Jersey, has recently received national acclaim by securing an award for “Best Kitchen” from the Best in American Living Awards (B.A.L.A.) panel of industry experts. The builder, whose portfolio of accomplishments includes luxury and estate communities in Ocean and Monmouth Counties, garnered the award for the kitchen design in the McKinley home style at its Paramount Legends at Manalapan Ridge (formerly Premier at Manalapan Ridge) community of estate homes on multi-acre properties situated at the highest point in Manalapan Township.

The award represents further acknowledgement of Paramount Homes’ capabilities to combine expansive space with practical functionality and aesthetic appeal. The builder’s entry was judged on use of the kitchen space, overall design, functional strengths, materials applications, cooking capabilities, flooring quality, cabinets, countertop versatility and quality and efficiency of kitchen fixtures.

Now in its 20th year, the B.A.L.A. program is sponsored annually by Professional Builder Magazine and the National Association of Home Builders. All entries were reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of builders, marketing experts, architects, land planners, developers, design professionals and a building publication editor.
