ASBURY PARK, NJ – Since it was announced, development of the oceanfront condominium community North Beach Asbury Park has nearly come to symbolize the “City by the Sea’s” revitalization. Now that construction is well under way, developer Paramount Homes is providing visual updates at the North Beach Asbury Park website, http://www.northbeachasbury.com/building-images.php.

“For everyone that eagerly anticipates what the emerging city will look like, the construction updates are both fascinating and informative,” said Jeffrey Fernbach, President, Paramount Homes, Inc. “Whether it’s our buyers, the media or longtime supporters of revitalization, people have a vested interest in our progress at North Beach.”
The photos, taken several times per month since late May, show the dramatic effect North Beach Asbury Park has had on the city. In late June, the skyline was transformed within hours when a 20-truck convoy of concrete trucks made a pre-dawn delivery for the first of five “Super Pours” that have laid the foundation for the condominium community’s 157 homes. Because it was Asbury Park’s largest concrete pour in decades, the trucks’ arrival received coverage by New Jersey 12, WCBS-AM Newsradio 88, the Asbury Park Press and others.
Since then, the pours have been completed and the structure has undergone preparation for the installation of steel in early winter. According to Paramount Homes, intense summer heat, the recent rains, and the onset of cold weather will not affect plans to have North Beach Asbury Park’s first residents living by the ocean next summer. The shell of all three structures will be complete by winter, at which time the masonry work will begin. Interior completions will be going on simultaneously with the masonry. Construction of the Barcelona – which sold out in less than one month – will be completed first. The entire first phase of construction will be completed by mid-2007.
During the early months of 2006, Paramount Homes will release periodic updates on construction status.
